Heading up the team is co-owner Mark Miller. He brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise from his 25 years in the catering/cuisine industry. It has always been Mark’s ambition to own his own dining pub – a dream which came a reality in May 2018, and he now relishes creating new dishes and implementing his own culinary ideas.
Mark started his training in Worcester under the careful tuition of accomplished chef Simon Smith and has won several awards during his career. Following his experience in Mallorca, Mark has spent a number of years in Dorset building friendships and contacts with many local producers of fine award-winning produce and has become renowned for his menu, all of which is freshly prepared.
Living on the premises with his young family, he is committed to the service and total wellbeing of his customers.
In February 2019 , Matthew Martinez passed away and all of us at The Pear at Parley have been devastated by the sad and sudden loss of such a hugely valued, committed and well-loved gentleman. He will remain a part of The Pear at Parley, is always in our thoughts, and sorely missed by staff and customers alike. Our new Stonebake Kitchen is dedicated to his memory.
