The Pear at Parley Dining Pub
Set within five acres of woodland in West Parley, The Pear at Parley offers a picturesque escape nestled between Poole and Bournemouth. With homemade food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the pub delivers excellent service in a relaxed, countryside setting. Guests can soak in the beautiful views while dining in the light-filled Orangery or out on the Al Fresco terrace. Founded in 2018 by Mark Miller and the late Matthew Martinez, The Pear brings Mediterranean-inspired cuisine to the heart of Dorset.

The Pear at Parley offers seasonally changing menus that are mouth-watering and expertly prepared, with much of the produce sourced from trusted local suppliers.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with an array of sharing platters, must-try fish and grill main courses, and indulgent desserts that are simply impossible to resist.
Lunch Menu
Our lunch menu offers a variety of freshly prepared dishes, from comforting classics to lighter seasonal options, served Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 2:45pm, with the option to enjoy a one, two or three-course meal at great value.
A La Carte Menu
Available every evening and all day Sunday, our à la carte menu features a delicious selection of freshly prepared starters, mains, and grill options. Blending Mediterranean influences with modern British favourites, each dish is crafted using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and cooked to order for maximum flavour.

The Stables
The Stables is a beautifully renovated, double-glazed extension just outside the main restaurant, offering a bright and versatile space for weekend dining and private events. Featuring large bifold doors that open up to the surrounding grounds, it creates a seamless indoor-outdoor experience ideal for any time of year. The space is equipped with heaters for colder days, ensuring comfort no matter the season. Guests can enjoy the full main restaurant menu in this welcoming setting, which also serves as our dedicated function room for special occasions— from birthdays and anniversaries to corporate gatherings.

Tucked away in our outdoor space, The Stonebake Kitchen is a relaxed, al fresco dining area dedicated exclusively to our Gozney flatbread pizzas. Fired fresh to order, these artisan pizzas are packed with flavour and perfect for summer dining. Open on Fridays, Saturdays & Bank Holidays throughout the summer months, The Stonebake Kitchen operates on a first-come, first-served basis—no bookings required. Come early, grab a seat, and enjoy a slice of something special under the sun.

Al Fresco Dining
Our Al Fresco dining area offers a relaxed and scenic setting for outdoor dining, with a selection of tables shaded by umbrellas, perfect for soaking up the surroundings. Enjoy the full main restaurant menu in the fresh air—weather permitting—making it an ideal spot for casual lunches, evening meals, or drinks in the sun. This area operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is not available for reservations, so simply turn up and take a seat.

We booked a lunch for 13 people and we were seated in the Stable area, which was perfect for our group. The staff were efficient, friendly, and provided excellent customer service throughout, making sure everyone was well looked after. The food was delicious, served promptly, and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The combination of great food, attentive service, and a lovely setting made for a really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend The Pear at Parley, especially for larger groups, and we’ll definitely be returning soon.

One of the most enjoyable lunches I’ve ever had. My parents and I came to the Pear to celebrate my parents’ 66th wedding anniversary and it was a delightful experience throughout. From the enchanting entrance, the wonderfully helpful and smiley staff to the excellent food. The pork belly with celeriac ‘chips’, pearl onions, garlic mash and crumbed cracking was outstanding - probably the best meal I’ve ever had.
