Woodland Dining Huts
These two beautifully rustic huts offer a special private dining experience, complete with a cosy wood burner stove, Sonos speaker system and a board game menu to keep you entertained. Designed to blend into the pub’s surrounding woodland landscape, the huts feature a handmade wooden roundtable and surrounding benches, with ceilings laden with ivy and fairy lights for an immersive feel. The unique interior styling includes toadstool cushions, a vintage fringed hanging light and fluffy Nordic-style rugs.

The spacious huts allow seating for up to 12 people. Huts are fully-serviced, with a dedicated member of our team looking after you for the duration of your time with us.
Hire a private dining hut for any occasion, whether it’s an evening with that special someone, a lunchtime family get-together, a business meeting, or a Birthday party.
Hire charge is £10 per person with a minimum cost of £50 per hut.

Private Dining Huts
We often get special requests for our private dining huts, and we always do our best to accommodate. These are some of the most frequently asked questions, if your question isn’t answered below then use the contact form to submit your enquiry.
Do you allow dogs in the private dining huts?
Unfortunately, due to the soft furnishings, we cannot allow dogs in the Woodland Dining Huts. We do have dog friendly seating available in the main restaurant, as well as our Kitchen Garden.

Can I decorate my hut?
Yes you are more than welcome to decorate your hut. If you would like to arrive early to do so please get in touch and we will try our best to accommodate.
Please note: We do not allow confetti to be used on the tables.
How much does it cost to hire a hut?
The private hire fee for your Woodland Dining Hut is £10 per person, to a maximum of £120.
There is a minimum hire charge of £50 for smaller groups.
You do not need to pay a hire fee for children under 5.
Please be aware that this is a non-refundable hire charge. It is not a deposit.
What is included in the hire fee?
The hire fee covers the cost of hiring the hut for a 4 hour period. Inside the hut you’ll find up to 12 chairs, a sofa area, cushions, a fireplace, SONOS speaker, and board games.
Can we bring a cake?
Yes you are welcome to bring a cake to celebrate with after your meal. We ask you to supply paper plates, cutlery, napkins, candles and a lighter where possible.
Your cake will be stored in our cellar area which is kept cool. Please let a member of the team know when you would like the cake brought out.

Can we bring our own alcohol?
No, only alcohol bought on the premisis is allowed to be consumed on site. The same applies for food (except for celebration cakes). Please be aware that if a member of your group is found to be drinking alcohol bought off-site there will be a £30 surcharge per bottle added to your bill.
Can we use our own playlist?
Inside each private dining hut is a SONOS speaker system that’s connected via the restaraunts account. If you would like to change the playlist, please speak to your server on the day of your booking.
How do we order drinks?
When you hire a private dining hut there will be a server looking after your party for the duration of your visit. They will be checking in on you, getting you drinks and serving your food.
If you need something from your server you’ll also have access to a doorbell that alerts the team that you require something.

Premium Buffet
We can cater a premium buffet in one of our woodland dining huts. Click here to see the menu selection and pricing. If you would like a buffet, please let us know in advance – this cannot be ordered on the day.
How long do we get the private dining hut for?
Whether booking for lunch or dinner, you will have your private dining hut for 4 hours.
The lunch time booking slot is from 12pm – 4pm and the evening is 6pm – 10pm Monday-Saturday, and 5.30pm – 9.30pm on Sunday.
Can I have a buffet menu?
Yes, when you book a private dining hut you have the option to have our premium buffet instead of ordering off the menu. This is often preferred as it saves the organiser dealing with their guests requirements.
You can see all the food included in the premium buffet in the menu above. This must be ordered in advance, we will not be able to serve a premium buffet without a preorder.
