Sandra's 60th Birthday
Sandra marked her 60th birthday in style, hosting a lively bash in The Stables, complete with an 80s playlist, a premium buffet, and the most indulgent chocolate cake we’ve ever seen.
Guests began arriving at 6:30pm, greeted by our friendly team running a private bar stocked with Sandra’s favourites. The cosy atmosphere was perfect for a chilly November evening, thanks to our newly installed halogen heaters. Drinks flowed, canapés were served, and Sandra’s daughter, Amber, delighted everyone with beautifully decorated cupcakes that added a personal touch.
At 8pm, the spotlight shifted to the premium buffet—a feast featuring sticky BBQ chicken skewers, mini lamb sliders, duck spring rolls, fish and chip boats, halloumi fries, sausage rolls, and so much more. It was a night filled with laughter, music, and memories, and we were so proud to play a part in celebrating Sandra’s milestone.

Abby & Lee's Picture Perfect Wedding
On May 25th, our 5-acre garden was bathed in sunshine, creating the ideal setting for Abby and Lee’s magical wedding day. The couple arrived shortly after 1pm, stepping into the garden to capture stunning photographs, while their guests enjoyed a sparkling reception under clear blue skies.
By 2pm, everyone gathered in The Stables for the wedding breakfast. The space was adorned with Abby and Lee’s chosen decorations, giving it an elegant yet intimate feel. Guests were treated to a delicious meal while a live saxophonist provided the perfect soundtrack, adding a unique touch of sophistication to the occasion.
The entire day unfolded like something out of a storybook. Abby was radiant in her gown, Lee beamed with pride, and the children played happily on the grass, their laughter filling the air. As the sun set over the garden, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
We were honoured to host Abby and Lee’s big day, and it was truly a celebration to remember. From heartfelt speeches to the beautiful photographs that captured every moment, this wedding embodied love, joy, and togetherness.

The Ash Bash: An Italian Farewell
In September, The Stables was transformed into a slice of Italy for Ash’s surprise 50th birthday party, expertly planned by his wife, Summer. With the couple preparing to move to Lake Como to start a new chapter, the celebration served as both a milestone birthday and a farewell to friends and family.
The evening began with guests arriving to a vibrant Aperol Spritz welcome wagon, setting the tone for the Italian-inspired evening. Summer had thought of everything, from the Aperol props and decorations to bespoke canapés, a pizza buffet, and abundant grazing boards provided by our friends at Scout & Hunter. Every bite celebrated the flavours of Italy.
As the night progressed, glasses were raised in countless toasts to Ash, his achievements, and the exciting adventures ahead. Guests sipped limoncello, laughed over shared memories, and sang the most spirited rendition of “Happy Birthday” we’ve ever heard. The party even spilled onto the new decking, where guests danced under the stars.
Ash’s 50th was truly an evening to remember, and we were thrilled to be part of it. The event not only showcased The Stables’ versatility but also captured the warmth and love of a close-knit community coming together to celebrate a remarkable couple.
